Family Reunion Groups
Get the entire extended family together … We Can Accomodate Everyone! Whether you want to be together or get private cabins, we have the accommodations to help your entire family make memories to last a lifetime.
The Villa cabins (16, 17, 18 & 19) combine to 10 bedrooms and 10 bathrooms in one building. The top floor (16 & 17) can open up to each other and include an incredible view from the large deck overlooking the resort. Cabins 18 & 19 can also open up in between them. Groups love this set up!! The idea is that one side can be for the kids to watch a movie together while the adults stay up to play cards and visit on the other side.
Our most popular group cabins are Cabin #20 and Cabin #2. Both of these cabins have a large deck to experience the incredible sunsets over Big Turtle Lake (just 100’ off the water’s edge). Sunsets on the deck, campfires on the beach & being with family … it doesn’t really get better than that.
Cabins 3A & 3B are classic cabins that can connect to each other. When connected, the two cabins have a total of five bedrooms. Fun Fact: These cabins were Bob and Helen Kohl’s original home.
We have many cabins that are neighbors to each other and provide for excellent set ups for multi-family groups that want to be together but also want their own space.
During the Summer, the A-frame outside of Liar’s Lounge has breathtaking views of the lake. You’ll find picnic tables and high top chairs to sit back and enjoy a cold one! There is also a resort charcoal grill on the A-Frame that works well to cook for large groups. Again, overlooking the lake!

Large Groups
Cabin 15 is a great option for large groups that are in multiple cabins as it can be the main gathering area for everyone to enjoy a family meal at. This cabin is next to the Lodge and is lakeside with having the great A-frame area right outside your door for outdoor entertaining.
Cabin 15 is officially called "Sunset Terrace Event Center". We're happy to announce that it can also double as an event center in the Fall, Winter and Spring for Meetings and Events. There is seating50-75 people during events. In the Off-Season you can have the option for a closed party at Liars Lounge where we can open up double doors between the Event Center and Liars Lounge. Who doesn’t want to add local Bemidji Brewing Beer at your next event! We have no food or drink requirements for the Event Space so you can have your meal catered in or cook your own meal in the large Kitchen of Cabin #15.
Parties
Create lasting memories with a Birthday, Anniversary, Holiday, or any other party, Minnesota Resort style. Your private indoor pool and game room area to celebrate a special event. Close to Bemidji. Fun for all.

Weddings
Celebrate your special day in a picturesque northwoods setting. If you are having that special event for up to 100, we can reconfigure our area to fit your needs. We can accommodate the weddings in May, early June, and then into Fall. In one day, tents, tables, chairs, dance floor and even heaters can be delivered and set up. Anyway you set it up, a Minnesota Lakeside wedding provides lasting memories. For larger weddings there are a few venues nearby to accommodate your needs. Look to Kohl’s Resort to give everyone their own special place to go after the big night is complete! Possibly even make it an extended weekend to complete their trip.
