Kohl’s Resort has become our favorite place to get away. From the first moment we arrive, we are relaxed. The beautiful views and sunsets alone are good for the soul. The resort layout allows you to join in on the many fun activities that are available, or spend some quiet time by your fire or on the deck. The cabins are clean, spacious and comfortable. Ashley and Brian are so welcoming and friendly and take care of any questions.

We rented the Sunset Terrace Event Center for our family Christmas party.
The space worked out perfectly with plenty of seating, a full kitchen for food prep, and wonderful ambiance with the wood burning fireplace. The included amenities, such as the pool, made it extra fun for the kids! The option of renting the bedrooms for our out-of-town guests was also convenient and slept several people.
We received many comments on what a great space it was. We plan to rent it again for future family events.

We've stayed in many of Kohl's various cabin options, and every one has been neat, clean, and spacious for the number of guests allowed. Love how my older kids talk about how we "always" went to Kohl's when they were little. While we didn't go every year, the years we did go made it seem like that in their memories. Now our two younger ones look forward to spending time "up North" too! Not sure if there is still ice cream available in the office/gift shop, but that's certainly a memory that we all share, no matter the age!

Wonderful owners. cabin was very clean and charming. This was my first time at Kohl's. We came to the area to go mushroom hunting. Our cabin overlooked the lake it was wonderful. I hope I get a chance to come back.

We stayed here and had a wonderful time. The owners are helpful and welcoming. There are many things available for guests to do--swimming, fishing, canoes, kayaks, paddleboats, ping pong, pool. Our cabin was wonderful. It was fully stocked with everything we needed.

Wonderful place to visit! This was our first and defiantly not our last visit to Kohls Resort. The family that owns it is so very nice and inviting.. The cabin was very nice, clean and roomy... The pool and hot tub was very nice and a beautiful veiw from the outside hot tub..

Spent the weekend at Kohls resort with my girlfriend. The cabin came stocked with great amenities as well as a gift from the owners. The staff was amazing when it came to helping me find a good restaurant for my girlfriend and I. Can't wait to visit again!

We just spent a week at their Island View lodge. It is so spacious! Fully stocked kitchen. Good location on the lake. We rented a pontoon and caught northern and walleye. Kids swam at the resort a few times-both at the beach and indoors. The staff was friendly and attentive. Nice location in relation to Bemidji too. We would go back!

We have been coming to Kohl's Resort since 2001, and we always have a great time! The fishing is good and we love the amenities,especially the indoor pool and shuffle board. The views of the lake are breath taking, and we highly recommend this resort.

Been vacationing at Kohl's for the past 11 years with our children and grandchildren. Great owners, well kept grounds, clean comfortable and well equipped cabins. Grandchildren call it a little bit of heaven!

Best location, best amenities, family friendly, hot diggity dog little shop where you want one of everything and the deer, wild turkeys, loons, wood ducks and pheasant thrown in for free. Runner friendly with a wonderful maze nearby. Close enough to Bemidji for movies, pizza and local fare. I went solo and did not get everything in I wanted to after a whole week. Thanks!!!

This is a beautiful family owned and operated resort with great service. The grounds and cabins are very clean and well maintained. The main lodge offers delicious food, ice cream, wine & beer. There are endless activities for the kids and adults to enjoy. We especially enjoyed the beach. They have an abundance of water toys & life vests to use. You can relax in the hammock and listen to the waves or hop in a kayak, canoe or paddle board, go biking, enjoy the indoor pool or hot tub, or play the abundance yard games. We truly had a great family trip, our 7 & 9 year old children asked on the car ride home to book again for next summer!
