Twelve miles north of Bemidji on Big Turtle Lake, Kohl's Resort has been a refuge for families since 1952. In a world that moves too fast, we offer something rare: 25 heated cabins where phones get left on the counter, kids beg to go ice fishing one more time, and parents actually exhale.

Winter here looks like your daughter catching her first crappie through the ice. Grandpa teaching the kids to snowshoe. Everyone around the fireplace after a day on the trails, faces red from cold and laughter. The dog finally tired out by the fire.
